Our team of experienced eye care professionals is assisted by our highly trained technicians and our efficient, compassionate front office staff. Jessica is our Practice Manager. She rejoined the office in 2019 after working in Advertising for 10 years. She is a Lincoln Way East and Indiana University Alum. Jessica is well versed in all functions of the office. She can easily switch between patient testing , frame selections, billing and even IT problems. Depending on the day, Jessica can be seen wearing daily disposable contact lenses or digital single vision glasses. She’s also a sunglass collector. You’ll never catch her without a pair or two in her purse!
Debbie works with nearly every patient. She performs the entrance tests at the beginning of the exam and gathers patient history information. She is also our contact lens specialist, ordering contacts and patiently teaching new wearers to insert and remove their lenses. Deb has a lot of experience handling contacts, as she wears astigmatism correcting daily disposable lenses. When out of the office, she is never without her protective polarized sunglasses.
Julie is our full-time Receptionist, but that title doesn’t come close to describing what she does for us. She is usually the one to answer your phone call and greet you when you arrive at the office. She provides convenient appointment times, determines if insurance is involved, and obtains your benefits. She bills Vision Service Plan, Medicare, or Blue Cross when appropriate. Julie does all of this while wearing multi-focal contact lenses, just like Dr. Harrison!
Socorro is our Business Manager. She has been instrumental in setting up procedures that ensure the accurate order and timely delivery of glasses and contact lenses. She has the knowledge and experience (30 years) to perform every function in the office. She can seamlessly fill in for any position and has personally trained and shared her extensive knowledge with all staff members. Socorro has one very important skill no one else in the office has – she is fluent in Spanish. Depending on her activity, Socorro may have a multi-focal contact lens on one eye with an astigmatism correcting lens on the other, or she may be enjoying crystal clear vision from the digital progressive lenses in her glasses.
